Manigent Press Release: Risk Management or Risky Management? Announcing BS31100 Training Course

Risk Management or Risky Management? Sign up for Manigent’s one-day course on the new BS31100 standard for the latest risk management best practice.

“Getting started with BS31100” is a one-day course designed to provide introductory training to risk management professionals and senior executives on the new Code of Practice for Risk Management - BS31100.

Taught by practising risk management professionals, with day to day experience and extensive knowledge of risk methodologies, the course participants will receive practical and interactive training on the BS31100 standard as well as its issues and challenges around its compliance.
In addition to reviewing the content of the BS31100 standard and how to achieve compliance, the course will also look closely at the Risk Management process including risk governance, strategy and appetite and how these apply to organisations.

Manigent Managing Director Andrew Smart is delighted to be able to offer this new course, which is part of the company’s expanding range of training courses.

About BS31100

Introduced in October 2008, BS 31100 is designed to provide a basis for understanding, developing, implementing and maintaining risk management within any organisation in order to enhance its ability to achieve its objectives. This British Standard establishes the principles and terminology for risk management and gives recommendations for the model, framework, process and implementation of risk management.
