Balanced Scorecard: Necessary but not sufficient
Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 02:17PM At Unicom's Strategic Performance Management and Balanced Scorecard Forum, Andrew Smart presented the Risk-based performance methodology alongside a number of other Balanced Scorecard experts.
The introduction to the presentation
In a thought-provoking presentation, Andrew Smart, Managing Director of Manigent, questions the role of the Balanced Scorecard in a post credit crunch world and asks what role a performance-only
approach to strategic execution played in the recent economic turmoil.
Andrew will argue that organizations must take a ‘more balanced’ approach to strategic execution by integrating and aligning their risk management approach with performance management. He will introduce the Risk-based performance methodology and discuss the benefits organizations are realizing by implementing an integrated performance and risk management approach.

Very nice presentation about balanced scorecard. Here, we can get wide ideas of balanced scorecard first, then we will have the comparison of risk and the balanced scorecard and also there is a good details presentation of the introduction to the risk based performance. In that, we will get a diagramatic knowledge of the risk based performance, it is very feasible to understand. Good presentation.
